Position: Crew Leader
Starting Pay: DOE
Minimum 5 years employed by a painting company.
and
Minimum 2 years employed in a supervisory role.
A newly hired Crew Lead must have, at the time of hire, the tools required for the position.
Experience Required:
Candidate must be efficient with all tools and equipment required to complete any task as a residential painter. This includes the operation and maintenance of airless sprayer systems and HVLP systems. Must be efficient at tasks such as sprayer operations, surface preparations, cut-ins, rolling techniques, and drywall and siding repair. A Paint Crew Leader must not need any guidance or assistance to complete any task as a residential painter. Must have verifiable experience, along with applicable knowledge of leading a team.
Job Duties:
As a Paint Crew Leader, you will manage the individuals assigned to the project in a manner that creates an efficient work flow of the jobsite. While managing the team you will also be performing tasks such as site preparation; equipment set-up and break-down; sanding and scraping old paint; caulking and filling; taping and masking; painting or staining surfaces; drywall repairs; siding repair. Duties are not limited to this brief description.
Basic Requirements:
Must be a U.S citizen
Must have a valid Texas DL or ID
Must have a reliable source of transportation
Must be able to pass a drug test
Must have a favorable background
Must be willing to work outdoors for extended periods of time
